Jill Hruby was sworn in by U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm as the Department of Energy’s Under Secretary for Nuclear Security and Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration.
NNSA announced its intention to extend the current contract for the management and operation of its Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, and the Y-12 National Security Complex.

These one-day hiring events feature representatives from NNSA federal offices and Management and Operating contracting partners – all looking to fill positions in a variety of career fields across the country.

Pantex responded quickly to the dangerous weather conditions by cancelling work shifts, reducing energy consumption, and evaluating freezing temperature-related damage to facilities.
