
This Black History Month, NNSA celebrates the life and legacy of Dr. Kevin C. Greenaugh, who not only honored but created Black history himself through his achievements as a professor, a scientist, a leader, and a mentor.

Breaking down barriers and representing NNSA at home and abroad on different mission activities is one of Clifford Parr's goals. It's part of carrying on the legacy of NNSA's own, the late Dr. Kevin Greenaugh, who used to mentor Parr.

Following his vast experience in defense and military organizations, Donny Watkins was looking for something new, challenging, and rewarding. He found all of this and more working at NNSA.

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory instructors were looking for some fresh ideas to make their Operational Technology Assurance course, sponsored by NNSA, more realistic for attendees.
As part of its efforts to demonstrate transparency about its work, in late November NNSA welcomed 13 non-governmental experts on arms control and nonproliferation to its Nevada facilities, including parts of the Nevada National Security Site.

Tonya Keys served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years. She now serves as the Director of Human Capital and Business Operations for NNSA's Office of Defense Programs.

NNSA has awarded two organizations 5-year grants totaling $2.17 million, to develop and strengthen apprenticeship training programs aligned with NNSA’s needs for traditional and emerging technician positions.
