SUBJECT: Authorization for Extension of Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations

SUMMARY: OMB Memorandum M-20-26 rescinds OMB Memorandums M-20-17 and M-20-20. OMB Memorandum M-20-26 also provides Agencies authorization to extend two exceptions provided in M-20-17 until September 30, 2020, Allowability of Salaries and Other Project Activities (Item 6 in M-20-17) and Extension of Single Audit Submission (Item 13 in M-20-17).

Policy Flash 2020–51 provides the attached: (1) COVID-19 M-20-26 - DOE/NNSA Financial Assistance Guidance to Contracting Officers; (2) COVID-19 M-20-26 - DOE/NNSA Implementation of OMB Memorandum M-20-26; and (3) OMB Memorandum M-20-26, Extension of Administrative Relief for Recipients and Applicants of Federal Financial Assistance Directly Impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) due to Loss of Operations (June 18, 2020).
