The achievement of quality in LM activities and products requires implementation of a formal Quality Assurance (QA) Program. The QA Program establishes principles, requirements, practices, and methods for integrating quality into the daily operations of our programs and projects. LM has implemented the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, Quality Management Systems standard using a graded approach. The LM QA Program functions as a management system to ensure organizational and quality objectives are consistently achieved throughout LM’s technical, administrative, and operational functions. The LM QA Program utilizes oversight activities and leverages a contractor assurance system to provide reasonable assurance that operations and management controls are effective and efficient. Achieving quality is the responsibility of managers as well as those who perform the work — each employee is expected to do the job in accordance with procedures and other requirements.
