The Isolated Power Systems (IPS) Connect conference, sponsored by Renewable Energy Alaska Project, Alaska Center for Energy and Power, and Cordova Electric Cooperative, will bring together isolated grid experts from around the world, including Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Australia, and Greenland. Participants will share success stories, hear about the latest developments in integration and technology, and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing remote grid operators.
In addition to the four-day technical workshop, the international technology forum for power system operators and owners will feature tours of the Humpback Creek run-of-river hydropower project and Cordova's pioneering Power Creek run-of-river hydro and battery energy storage system microgrid.
Space and accommodations are limited; register and book lodging early. For a detailed agenda and more information, visit the IPS Connect website.
