The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Tribal Energy Program is pleased to announce its intent to issue a funding opportunity announcement (FOA).

The EERE Tribal Energy Program, in coordination with DOE's Office of Indian Energy, will be continuing its efforts to promote tribal energy sufficiency and to spur increased deployment of clean energy and energy efficiency on Indian lands. In support of these goals, EERE intends to solicit applications from Indian Tribes, Tribal Energy Resource Development Organizations, and Tribal Consortia to: (1) install clean energy and energy efficiency retrofit projects for tribal buildings; and (2) deploy clean energy systems on a community scale.

For more, see the Notice of Intent (NOI). Note that this is an NOI only. EERE may issue an FOA as described in the NOI, may issue an FOA that is significantly different than the FOA described in the NOI, or may not issue an FOA at all. To be notified, when (or if) an FOA is issued, please join our email list.
