The University Coalition for Fossil Energy Research facilitates basic and applied energy research and promotes multidisciplinary collaboration among the member universities of the Coalition and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) of DOE. Its research focuses on a variety of technology areas in the following five core competencies: Geological and Environmental Systems; Materials Engineering and Manufacturing; Energy Conversion Engineering; Strategic Systems Analysis & Engineering; and Computational Science and Engineering. This meeting will allow project PIs to present research progress on existing collaborations with NETL and to discuss future research objectives.
