The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Acting Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM), Dr. Jennifer Wilcox, will deliver remarks at the Columbia University Center for Global Energy Policy webinar, CO2 Recycling: Technology Limits, Opportunities, and Policies for a Circular Carbon Economy, on Monday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m. (EDT). Dr. Wilcox will discuss how DOE, specifically FECM, is working to meet the Biden-Harris Administration’s goals to decarbonize all emitting sectors to combat climate change.

The webinar will explore key findings of the Center’s recent report, “Opportunities and Limits of CO2 Recycling in a Circular Carbon Economy: Techno-economics, Critical Infrastructure Needs, and Policy Priorities,” and bring together industry stakeholders to discuss how CO2 recycling can help reduce emissions and work toward a net-zero future.

Those interested in learning more about CO2 recycling and decarbonization are encouraged to register and attend this free webinar.
