Energy Storage Grand Challenge, U.S. Department of Energy

The Lab Partnering Service online platform has recently been expanded to include energy storage experts, facilities, and partnering opportunities.

Managed by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions, the Lab Partnering Service (LPS) offers access to the world’s most advanced scientific facilities and researchers across the Department’s national lab complex. LPS provides investors—and other parties looking to advance energy innovation—a single online platform to connect with leading DOE national laboratory technical experts to quickly answer innovation questions, as well as discover opportunities for building partnerships and taking research or product advancements to the next level.

The LPS online platform has recently been augmented with more than 40 energy storage experts and hundreds of transformational energy storage technologies associated with patents and patent applications ready for licensing. The module also includes more than 25 success stories showcasing the benefits that can be gained by small or large businesses, venture capitalists, universities, and non-profits, and information about the six cutting edge national lab facilities that can be leveraged to discover, innovate, and tackle challenging scientific issues.
