Wind Energy Technologies Office Budget

The U.S. Department of Energy has allocated $137 million in fiscal year 2024 (FY24) funds for wind energy technologies.

Additionally, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 allocated $60 million to fund research, development, demonstration, and commercialization activities to improve wind energy technologies; and $40 million to create approaches to increase the reuse and recycling of wind energy technologies.

FY 2025 Budget Request

A new budget request was released on March 11, 2024, for FY 2025. Of the $51 billion requested for DOE, $199 million was requested for WETO.
