David Cameron: Hello. Welcome to Aberdeen, one of Europe's leading hydrogen cities.

We’re putting hydrogen at the heart of the energy transition, investing in innovative technologies, turning that into economic and social success through the creation of jobs and prosperity.
Our hydrogen story started around 10 years ago when we became the first city in the UK to introduce hydrogen-powered transport.
Today we use the zero-emission fuel to power one of the largest and most varied hydrogen fleets in Europe, with a fleet of cars, vans, trucks, and buses.
And we are always at the forefront of hydrogen innovation. This year we became the first local authority in the UK to introduce a hydrogen fuel cell waste truck.
We are also putting in place the infrastructure necessary to transform our city. In 2022 we approved our joint venture partner to deliver the ambitious Aberdeen Hydrogen Hub.
By tapping into renewable energy, we have the potential to produce and distribute green hydrogen to power transport, heat homes, and even export to Europe.
Hisamoto Kizo: Hello, and welcome to Kobe, one of Japan’s leading hydrogen cities.

We are putting renewable energy at the heart of innovation in order to avert the global warming crisis and realize a sustainable society.
We aim to build a supply chain to import and export hydrogen on a global scale, and we have already started a verification project to bring this fuel to Kobe in liquid state using world’s first liquefied hydrogen carrier.
We are also conducting a demonstration project with the hope of establishing power generation technology that would use this fuel, and we have already, for the first time in the world, successfully supplied an urban area with heat and electricity generated using only hydrogen.
Tackling climate change is a global effort, and we look forward to working together with our close partners in Aberdeen in leading the way toward making a hydrogen-based society a reality.
David Cameron: Tackling climate change is about working with everybody and taking a global view.
We are delighted to be twinning with our esteemed friends Kobe to make it a better world for everyone, everywhere.
