45L Tax Credit  |  From January 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026, Section 45L of the Internal Revenue Code provides a $5,000 tax credit for any home or multifamily unit with a DOE Efficient New Homes certification meeting specified prevailing wage requirements.

Fannie Mae Green Financing  |  The DOE Efficient New Homes program is a recognized Green Building Certification Program for Fannie Mae's preferential pricing for Mortgage Loans secured by a multifamily property. 

Deltec Homes Green Certification Rebate Program  |  For a DOE Efficient New Homes certification on a Deltec Home, Deltec will pay a rebate of $750 to the homeowner and $750 to the builder.

HOME Investment Partnerships Program  |  DOE Efficient New Homes certification meets the energy standards requirement for this HUD program, which provides formula grants to states and localities to fund building, buying, and/or rehabilitating affordable housing for rent or home ownership.

Housing Trust Fund (HTF)  |  DOE Efficient New Homes certifications meets the energy standards requirements for this HUD program, which provides grants to produce and preserve affordable housing for low-income households.

HUD & USDA Minimum Energy Standards  |  DOE Efficient New Homes certification is an option for meeting the minimum energy standards for a variety of HUD and USDA-funded new construction housing programs.

CIRRUS Gap Financing Loans  |  PACE Equity provides gap financing through C-PACE loans, tied to the project's property tax assessment, eliminating the need for outside investors to complete a project’s financing. The CIRRUS low carbon financing is a loan that is below the market rate that projects can be eligible for through three pathways: prescriptive, performance, and third-party certifications. DOE Efficient New Homes is one of the third-party certifications that qualifies projects for CIRRUS low carbon financing.
