Hear presentations that address a DOE-funded study by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) that includes Illume Advising, which looks at how residents make decisions that identify opportunities for household electrification and home energy use -- and recognize barriers that impede decarbonization across a variety of communities. The Illume team conducted 125 semi-structured interviews with households in four U.S. states, the results of which were used to develop a national survey by PNNL of 10,000 owner and renter households. Additionally, the research team has assembled an advisory committee comprised of stakeholder experts from industry, research, and academia to inform study methods.
