Better Plants 2018 Annual Update – Now Available

The 2018 Better Plants Annual Update is now available. Since the program began, partners have reported more than 1 quadrillion BTUs in energy savings, which transfer into cumulative cost savings of more than $5 billion.

Manufacturing USA’s 2017 Program Performance Annual Report to Congress

Over the past year, the Manufacturing USA program made significant positive impact on advancing manufacturing in the United States. From providing training for veterans to advancing technologies developed in the national laboratories, Manufacturing USA is convening players across the manufacturing community to address the Nation’s pressing manufacturing technology and competitiveness needs.

Five Organizations Selected to Revitalize U.S. Solar Manufacturing

DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory selected five organizations to facilitate and grow the American-Made Solar Prize, a $3 million competition designed to boost domestic solar manufacturing. These organizations, known as Power Connectors, can receive $100,000 each for supporting the American-Made Solar Prize by recruiting competitors and partners, hosting demonstration days, and developing plans and programs to ensure the longevity of the program.
