The Department of Energy is committed to combating the climate crisis and investing the necessary funds, time, and research into powering the clean energy transition. President Biden’s goal of achieving a 100% clean energy economy and net-zero emissions by 2050 is a cornerstone of the Administration’s and the Department’s work. Our work to develop and refine clean energy technology, including nuclear power and other renewable energy sources, are bringing this goal closer to reality.
