On August 21, 2023, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Enterprise Assessments' Office of Enforcement notified Mid-America Conversion Services LLC, and subcontractors Construction Safety Consultants, Inc., and Omni Services, Inc. of its intent to investigate potential deficiencies in the implementation of DOE's 10 C.F.R. Part 851 Worker Safety and Health Program requirements at the Depleted Uranium Hexafluoride Conversion Facility.
