WASHINGTON, D.C. - On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, U.S. Under Secretary for Science Paul Dabbar will participate in National Lab Day on the Hill, joining a fireside chat discussion with several former DOE Under Secretaries. This year’s event is focused on the grid of the future and the exhibition will feature researchers from all 17 National Labs showcasing the DOE lab system’s collective strength in finding science and technology solutions for the country.

Lab Day on the Hill is an opportunity for Members of Congress and staff to see firsthand the scientific and technological contributions from our network of DOE National Laboratories.

Joining Under Secretary Dabbar for the fireside chat discussion are Steve Koonin, Director of New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress and former DOE Under Secretary for Science, and Lynn Orr, Professor Emeritus, Energy Resources Engineering, Stanford University and former DOE Under Secretary for Science and Energy.
