It is an exciting time at the Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) as we strive to deliver on Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm's rallying cry to "deploy, deploy, deploy." OTT's ongoing efforts to bring innovative, clean technologies to market are central to executing both long-term and immediate goals for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the Biden Administration. In this transformational time, we are thrilled to welcome several new team members to OTT.
Dr. Kyle Fricker, Commercialization Program Manager
Dr. Kyle Fricker works with DOE program offices, national laboratories, and industry to develop and manage technology-agnostic funding programs and activities seeking to bring impactful energy technologies to market, with a specific focus on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act portion of the Technology Commercialization Fund.
Before OTT, Kyle served as technology manager on the Manufacturing and Competitiveness team within DOE's Solar Energy Technologies Office. In that role, his portfolio included projects that support entrepreneurs developing new solar products and programs that strengthen innovation ecosystems to accelerate the commercialization of early-stage energy technologies. He also led programs to scale up new approaches to expand affordable solar access to previously underserved populations.

She joined DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) in 2015 where she worked on EERE’s Technology-to-Market and National Lab Impact teams within the Office of Strategic Programs, working to help promote commercialization of clean energy technologies, and within the Bioenergy Technologies Office, supporting a variety of projects.
Immediately prior to joining OTT, Becca supported DOE’s Water Power Technologies Office’s Innovation & Commercialization team, working to promote the commercial potential of marine energy technologies and next generation hydropower and pumped storage systems.
Jasmine Towner, Commercialization Program Manager
