On November 20, 2018, the Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA) denied a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Appeal filed by Anatoly Blanovsky (Appellant) from a final determination issued by the Department of Energy's Office of Inspector General (OIG). On Appeal, the Appellant alleged that the OIG had not conducted an adequate search for responsive records. After review, OHA determined that the OIG conducted a search reasonably calculated to uncover the records requested by the Appellant. Accordingly, OHA denied the Appeal. OHA Case No. FIA-18-0036.
