Battery Manufacturing and Recycling Grants (BIL 40207 (c))

This Office of Manufacturing & Energy Supply Chains (MESC) webinar presents an overview of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing Funding Opportunity Announcement and how it will invest in projects strengthening critical domestic manufacturing and supply chains. The Battery Materials Processing and Battery Manufacturing grant maximizes the benefits of the clean energy transition as the nation works to curb the climate crisis and advance environmental justice.

This funding opportunity aims to reach across the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the battery supply chain, supporting upstream critical mineral refining, midstream battery materials, and component manufacturing, as well as subsequent cell manufacturing and end of life recycling.
