BETO is looking for a GS-12 or GS-13 level engineer or scientist to support the critical need to develop, test and verify integrated biorefinery process performance at the pre-pilot, pilot and demonstration scales in its Systems Development & Integration (SDI) subprogram. The work includes program planning and project management in collaboration with private industry, academia, and the DOE national labs, will provide daily challenging assignments and engaging opportunities for growth and development. Direct hands-on experience with bioenergy technology development in a laboratory or industrial setting is desired. There is a specific need for thermochemical experience, but all types of bioenergy experience are welcome.
