Decarbonizing the Industrial Sector and Manufacturing Clean Energy Technologies to Benefit All Americans
On Thursday, July 29, Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm will host a virtual roundtable event to discuss the Department of Energy’s efforts to decarbonize America’s manufacturing sector, manufacture clean-energy technologies, and pave the way to a resilient, carbon-neutral economy by 2050. As part of the Department’s weeklong “Future of Manufacturing” observance, Secretary Granholm will announce several major initiatives pertaining to manufacturing during the panel discussion.
The panel discussion will feature a diverse range of stakeholders from government, academia, and DOE’s private-sector partners.
