PAA-20-0002 - In the Matter of the appellant

On April 20, 2020, the OHA issued a decision denying a Privacy Act appeal. The Appellant argued that his request for chemical environmental information and safety procedure
information was not addressed in the DOE response to his request. The OHA held that those records were not searchable using the Appellant's identifying information and were, therefore, outside the scope of the Privacy Act. However, the OHA noted that the DOE had processed those parts of the request under the FOIA and would be issuing a separate response. OHA Case No. PAA-20-0002.
