Join the American Nuclear Society, U.S. Department of Energy, and Discovery Education on a journey inside Idaho National Laboratory, the nation’s lead lab for nuclear energy research, development, demonstration and deployment. Here, scientists and engineers create fuel particles to enhance space exploration, research and improve energy production, and design the next generation of nuclear technology and equipment. We'll visit the Advanced Test Reactor, the world's most powerful research reactor that scientists come from all over to use in their experiments. Next, we will go inside the Hot Fuel Examination Facility to learn about what's new with nuclear fuels and finally, we will visit the INL glass shop to see how one man uses creativity and artistry to serve the science community.

Students will get to meet professionals with diverse and engaging careers and see that there is no one path to a career in this exciting and ever-evolving industry. Give your students a front row seat so they can see the possibilities of a career in nuclear science.

Join us on Twitter for a live chat and show us your students tuning in using #NuclearReimaginedVFT!
