- The weather in Colorado can vary greatly no matter what time of year it is. Be prepared for all eventualities in weather when you come.
- Remember Denver is the “Mile High City” and Golden is even a little higher (5,800 feet above sea level), so make sure you drink a lot of water and limit your alcohol consumption while visiting. This will help with “high-altitude headaches” and a general feeling of malaise which can happen if you’re not accustomed to the altitude.
