How FEMP Helps: Grant Funding for Federal Projects

The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) provides direct funding to federal agencies. The Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies (AFFECT) program provides grants for the development of energy and water efficiency projects and processes at U.S. federal government-owned facilities.

The Biden-Harris Administration, through the U.S. Department of Energy, announced $250 million in funding from President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support federal agencies in implementing net-zero building projects.

The $250 million will be dispersed in three phases with phase 1 selections in January 2024.

Phase 2 is now open for applications. Don’t miss this opportunity!
