This Better Buildings Residential Network Toolkit: Using Learning to Strengthen Performance provides practical guidance for residential energy efficiency programs to conduct meaningful, targeted evaluations during implementation and a step-by-step framework for learning from insights to achieve greater impact. Often, programs wait to evaluate performance until the end of an initiative, when the results arrive too late to make meaningful changes. Unfortunately, this outcome is not a product of the evaluations, but rather a consequence of when and how we conduct them. This toolkit is here to change that.
