WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, October 12, U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will tour Norfolk Southern’s Lambert’s Point Coal Terminal in Norfolk, Virginia and meet with Norfolk Southern employees.

Lambert’s Point is a major coal export hub, as more than one-third of America’s coal exports leave from the site. During the visit, the Secretary will highlight the importance of coal in America’s energy future, both as a reliable source of continuous power and a key component of American energy trade.

The visit follows the Secretary’s recent trip to Colstrip, Montana where he voiced support for America’s coal industry.
