Vehicle Technologies Office: Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation

Merit Review Search

At the Vehicle Technologies Office Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation, advanced vehicle technologies projects funded by VTO are presented and reviewed for their merit. The Merit Review presentations from past years are in the above database. The 2008 presentations are not included in the database, but are linked to that year's agenda.

The reviewers come from a variety of backgrounds, including current and former members of the vehicles industry, academia, national laboratories, and government. Each reviewer evaluates a set of projects based on how much they contribute to or advance the Energy Department’s missions and goals. The reviewer considers the project’s breadth, depth, appropriateness, accomplishments, and potential.

The final reviews are described in the Vehicle Technologies Office Annual Merit Review Reports:

The reports are also listed on the Annual Progress Reports page.

This year's U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) 2014 Annual Merit Review and Peer Evaluation Meetings (AMR) for the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Program and the Vehicle Technologies Office was held on June 16–20, 2014, in Washington, D.C. The Vehicle Technologies Office co-sponsors the event with the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Program.
