The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (formerly the Equal Employment Opportunity Office) reports directly to Southwestern’s Administrator. Its purpose is to plan, implement, and monitor Southwestern’s employment practices under the various statutes and Executive Orders that prohibit discrimination and promote diversity in the workplace, including Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; the Equal Pay Act; Age Discrimination in Employment Act; and related statutes.
