With $97 billion in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, the DOE is expanding its existing programs and creating new pathways for federal investments to help achieve carbon-free electricity in the U.S. by 2035 and a net-zero economy by 2050.
