Tanya Crawford joined the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization in March 2016. Prior to joining the Department of Energy. Tanya served as a Division Chief, Supervisory Contracting Officer with the Department of Veteran Affairs managing and overseeing the acquisition of a wide variety of commodities and services in support of the VA’s mission to include an extensive range of contract types. She was responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing all activities for the Simplified Acquisition division to ensure that the division’s goals aligned with the VA’s mission. Tanya also has been a Supervisory Contracting Officer for a host of other Federal agencies.
Prior to joining the Federal government, Tanya worked for several years in private industry, work includes premier law firms and a number of non-profit education associations. Tanya Crawford holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Ashford University and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University. Tanya is FAC-C level III certified and DAWIA certified.
