On June 28 and 29, the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity will host an Energy Storage for Social Equity Roundtable to explore the relationship between energy equity and energy storage. Flexible and available at any scale, energy storage offers a useful framework and starting point to a larger conversation about energy equity. Supported by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories, the roundtable will include presentations and remarks from industry leaders who are leading the charge in transitioning the energy system to a more equitable, affordable, accessible, and sustainable future.
