In March and April, NNSA and its labs, plants, and sites held events at Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, Purdue, and University of California, Merced. Students not only got to attend panel discussions and presentations, but also had chances to speak one-on-one with staff from NNSA, the National Laboratories and plants and sites that make up the Nuclear Security Enterprise. Now, NNSA will host upcoming events at the following schools:

  • Aug. 27 – Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, Georgia)
  • Sept. 5 – Purdue University (West Lafayette, Indiana)
  • Sept. 9 – Texas A&M University (College Station, Texas)
  • Sept. 11 – University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
  • Sept. 17 – New Mexico State University (Las Cruces, New Mexico)
  • Sept. 23 – University of Tennessee (Knoxville, Tennessee)
  • Sept. 24 – Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla, Missouri)

The Nuclear Security Enterprise is actively engaged in all of its core missions –ensuring a safe, secure, and reliable nuclear stockpile without explosive testing; reducing the global danger from weapons of mass destruction; providing the U.S. Navy with safe and effective nuclear propulsion; and responding to nuclear and radiological emergencies in the United States and around the world. Both the federal government and its management and operating partners are seeking to hire early career professionals to help accomplish their national security missions.
