Department of Energy’s Undersecretary for Nuclear Security and NNSA Administrator Lt. Gen. Frank Klotz (Ret.) stopped by the sale to show support. NNSA Senior Coordinator Mike Gomes shared in the affair.

Every year, NNSA employees join together to support charitable organizations and extend a hand to fellow citizens through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Since 1961, the CFC has raised more than $8 billion dollars to help those in need through the dedication of individuals who give and encourage others to give through fundraising events. This week, NNSA hosted a bake sale to benefit CFC charities.

Klotz thanks human capital program analyst Adrian Anderson for his efforts with CFC. In the background, from left, Presidential Management Fellow Kim Segura, management analyst Alizandra Brady-Villagram, and foreign affairs specialist Andrae Brooks draw patrons to the sale.

With the introduction of “All-Around Giving,” Federal employees may now designate charities participating in any CFC campaign across the country.
