NNSA awarded Kaylyn Peters with the 2018 Linton F. Brooks Medal for Dedication to Public Service today in a ceremony at DOE Headquarters.

This annual award recognizes NNSA employees with less than five years of federal and professional experience whose actions and deeds exemplify former Administrator Linton Brooks’ spirit of commitment and achievement.

Peters is a program manager in NNSA’s Office of Infrastructure Planning and Analysis and has an impressive record of contributions to the agency, the Department of Energy, and the federal government at large.

With her commitment to serve, Peters rallied senior leaders around a common cause and led efforts in transforming the approach of infrastructure management across NNSA. She worked with internal and external constituents to establish in-depth infrastructure analyses, the essential tool behind NNSA’s infrastructure strategic planning process.
