The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Greenway Energy, LLC to develop a platinum-group metal-free nano-structured catalyst for use in hydrogen fuel cells. This small-scale, laboratory-based project would focus on the synthesis and characterization of a variety of electrocatalysts followed by testing and benchmarking the performance against state of the art technologies.
