The U.S. Department of Energy is proposing to provide federal funding to the City of Big Bear Lake, California to develop its Solar Energy Parking Canlopy Demonstration Project. The proposed project would produce approximately 110 kilowatts of electricity using a roof-mounted solar system on a new parking canopy.
