The Department of Energy's proposed action is to issue a loan to Chrysler Group Limited Liability Company for retooling and reequipping the… The loan would be used for the installation of machining and assembly systems to manufacture various, and for the construction and use of supplemental tooling required to manufacture the parts, including automation tooling to transport parts, assembly tooling and fixtures, verification gages, and facility items needed for integrated assembly processes. The retooling activities would not involve new construction or appreciable changes to the air, liquid, or solid waste emissions of the facility. The facility would continue to be a large quantity generator of hazardous waste (no change to generator status).
