Western proposes on replacing 230-kilovolt (kV) conductor in four bays and one 230-kV power circuit breaker voltage transformer within the fenced area of the Pinnacle Peak Substation, This will also consist of rerouting existing conduit in a 20 foot trench going 24 inches in depth. We will use existing access roads and vehicles such as pickup trucks, crew trucks, backhoes and bucket trucks to bring personnel and equipment to the work area. This work is necessary to maintain the safety and reliability of the bulk electrical system.
