This project seeks to minimize the cost of capturing and sequestering carbon dioxide (CO2) to avoid the impact of climate change. Nalco Company and Argonne National Laboratory will develop and commercialize a system that will dramtically decrease the costs to capture CO2 from the coal-fired power plants.
