SUBJECT: 180 Day Extension to Anniversary Dates for Protective Force Personnel Covered by Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1046

SUMMARY:  

The attached Secretarial Memorandum grants a 180 day extension to all anniversary dates for medical examinations/recertification, physical readiness qualifications, firearms qualifications, and annual training for Protective Force personnel specified in 10 CFR Part 1046 whose anniversary dates fall between March 13, 2020, and 30 days past the date the national emergency is cancelled.

Contracting Officers shall provide notification of the Secretarial Memorandum to contractors that are subject to the requirements of 10 CFR 1046.
