This webinar, hosted by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), is an opportunity for attendees to learn how governments can strengthen their new or expanded energy programs. Lessons from sample programs will be shared via a new ACEEE toolkit that lays out guiding principles for governments and features 17 strong programs that can serve as models for new or expanded efforts. The lead toolkit author will highlight key takeaways from the research that went into the toolkit’s development, and officials from Connecticut and Washington, D.C., will share insights from their programs and how they plan to leverage federal funding. Additionally, a representative from Elevate will discuss how governments can ensure programs are deployed equitably to advance energy justice.
