The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Indian Energy, in partnership with Western Area Power Administration (Western), hosted a webinar on "Transmission and Grid Basics for Tribal Economic and Energy Development" Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mountain Time. The webinar will cover a wide range of topics, including transmission markets, management, and ownership structures; interconnection request processes and timelines; transmission planning and operations; and grid fundamentals. Text transcript of the webinar is also available.
