Zack Baize, Program Manager, Office of Technology Transitions
Zack Baize

Zack Baize serves as a commercialization program manager in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE's) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT). He currently works with DOE program offices and National Laboratories to develop and manage programs and activities focused on bringing new technologies to market.

Prior to his work in OTT, Zack served as Deputy Director of the Technology-to-Market program in the DOE Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. In this role, he developed new approaches and processes to enable better commercialization outcomes for federal technology investments. Before DOE, Zack held various roles in the energy field, including positions at Oxford University and Schneider Electric.

Zack earned a MSc in Energy and Environmental Economics from Oxford University and a BA in Political Science/Economics from the University of Kentucky.
