THURSDAY, 3/25: SECRETARY GRANHOLM TO HOST WEBINAR AND TECHNOLOGY TOURS ON NEW SOLAR INVESTMENTS

WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Thursday, March 25, Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm and the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Solar Energy Technologies Office (SETO) will host a webinar to announce new solar technology investments that will help DOE address the climate emergency and achieve President Biden’s goal of 100% clean electricity by 2035.

Through a series of virtual tours, Secretary Granholm and SETO will visit cutting-edge solar research and development facilities and talk to experts from across the nation about how agency initiatives have helped them drive down costs, improve efficiency, and achieve critical breakthroughs in the manufacturing and deployment of new technologies.
