S&E Employees should contact the Benefits Branch for basic employment verification.  Requests should be faxed to 865-576-5050.  If a fax is not available, please email requests to SESSCBenefits@hc.doe.gov

This is for “is this person employed here?”, or “how long has this person been employed?”.  There will be no verification of salary or financial information.

If the request is for financial matters, i.e. mortgage request info, etc., the employee may submit a request for employment verification in writing via fax to the DOE Payroll Office. All request must include the written consent of the employee for disclosure of information.  Allow a turnaround time of 3 business days for the request.
