The current Strategic Human Capital Plan (SHCP) sets forth the framework for managing the Department of Energy’s (DOE) human capital system through 2020. This Plan, which replaces the 2011-2015 SHCP, aligns with the 2014-2018 DOE Strategic Plan and the cross-agency priority goals of the President’s Management Agenda. The plan identifies three strategic human capital goals relating to the Department's leadership, people, and HR (Human Resources) service delivery.
