Loan Programs Office: The Energy Department's Loan Program Office guarantees loans to eligible clean energy projects and provides direct loans to eligible manufacturers of advanced technology vehicles and components. Learn about how the Energy Department's loan programs are accelerating domestic commercial deployment of advanced technologies at a  scale sufficient to contribute meaningfully to job creation, improving our environment and enhancing American competitiveness. 

State Energy Program: The State Energy Program provides financial and technical assistance to states through formula and competitive grants. States use their formula grants to develop state strategies and goals to address their energy priorities.

National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) Renewable Energy Project Finance: NREL's renewable energy finance website features original research, analysis and content aimed to inform decision makers in the renewable energy field. Topics covered include project-level finance (terms, structures, and innovations); renewable energy policy at the national, state and municipal levels; state-of-the-market for most commercial and some emerging renewable technologies; and high renewable penetration scenarios.

Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Technology Innovation Portal: The Energy Innovation Portal is a one-stop resource for technologies from the Energy Department's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). Users can locate technologies that were developed with Energy Department funding and are available for licensing. If you find a technology you are interested in, simply fill out the contact form to get directly in touch with the licensing representative from each laboratory.
