Video Transcript: This is FEMP - Performance Contracting and Partnerships

Kurmit: In fiscal year '18, we're looking forward to supporting new projects under the DOE ESPCS IDIQ contract. It's been recently awarded, and we've made some really good improvements to the contract, and I'm looking forward to getting feedback and to seeing projects go forward.

Tracy: And so, we're looking to really get the word out and inform people and make them feel comfortable and confident that they have the tools they need to meet the challenge of executing these projects.

Brandi: Last year, we implemented new measurement and verification guidelines called MMV 4.0 and we revamped our project facilitator service to implement those guidelines.

Tracy: So, in FY18, the UESC program is primarily focused on increasing our penetration of training. We really see one of the key kind of challenges for agencies interested in improving energy at their sites is really understanding all the tools they have right at their fingertips.

Kurmit: So, also in fiscal year '18, I'm looking forward to our continued efforts to improve the quality assurance for ESPC projects through our federal ESPC steering committees, contract holder meetings, and other guidances and resources that we'll be providing.

Tracy: So, I'm most excited about right now is our federal utility partnership working group seminar that's gonna be held in November – the 15th and 16th – in Ontario, California. We have a utility partner that's hosting it. It will bring together over 200 people really focused on discussing best practices, sharing information, investigating lessons learned, and ways to execute really excellent projects.

Brandi: I'm Brandi Eng-Rohrbach, and this is FEMP.

Kurmit: I'm Kurmit Rockwell, and this is FEMP.

Tracy: I'm Tracy Niro, and this is FEMP.
